Public engagement efforts are getting underway for the County’s General Plan Safety Element called the Peninsula Resilience Planning Project. There will be two Virtual Community Workshops to kick off the project to learn about the communities’ thoughts and experiences with flooding, wildfire, earthquakes, landslides, extreme heat, and other severe weather or natural hazards.
