Get Involved - CDRC vacancies

Coastside Design Review Committee reviews development applications for compliance with Midcoast Design Standards to encourage new homes with individual character that are complementary with neighboring houses, community character, and the surrounding natural setting.    Desirable traits in a CDRC member.

San Mateo County Parks Department is developing a Quarry Park master plan that will help guide park improvements over at least 20 years.  Mirada Surf East and West are included in the plan. The process includes:  review of historic documents, site assessments, sediment management strategies, analysis of existing features, biological assessment and fire management, and recreational uses.

Oct 3: presentation & comments on alternatives

April 24: review Draft Master Plan 

Next steps:
Release of the Draft Master Plan to the public was tentatively scheduled to begin in May 2018, followed by presentation of final Master Plan to the Parks Commission, but the project has been delayed due to limited staff resources.
