Get Involved - CDRC vacancies

Coastside Design Review Committee reviews development applications for compliance with Midcoast Design Standards to encourage new homes with individual character that are complementary with neighboring houses, community character, and the surrounding natural setting.    Desirable traits in a CDRC member.

Public Workshop June 16: Motel Expansion in El Granada

The County will hold a Pre-Application Workshop to allow for public comment on a proposed 2-story, 14-room addition to the Harbor View Inn at 51 Avenue Alhambra in El Granada.  (site plans - Google aerial & street view)

UPDATE 7/14/15: Workshop Summary
Note: Staff later acknowleged that the correct maximum building height is 28', not 36' as indicated in the Workshop Summary.

UPDATE 7/9/19: Project description revised as follows:  CDP, Staff-Level Design Review, & Use Permit Amendment to allow for the addition of 15 guest rooms (for a total of 34), a conference room, employee break area/office, & new reception area. This project is appealable to the CA Coastal Commision. Revised plans -- Google images
