A Coastside resident is needed to fill a vacant seat on SamTrans (San Mateo County Transit District) Board of Directors for a term ending Dec. 2018. The Board sets policy for the District and consists of two members of the County Board of Supervisors, one member who is a transportation expert, three members from city councils, and three members of the general public.
Applicants for this seat must live on the Coastside and cannot be an elected official nor have served as one in the last year. Regular meetings are held at 2 pm on the first Wednesday of each month in San Carlos. Application deadline is Nov. 3. More info and application for download here.
