Connect the Coastside is a Comprehensive Transportation Management Plan (CTMP) that will identify programs and improvements along Hwy 1 & 92 to accommodate future transportation needs. The CTMP is a requirement of the 2012 Midcoast Local Coastal Program Update (LCP Policy 2.53) and is scheduled for completion mid-2015.

Montara Coast - Public Access & Views
Most of Montara’s spectacular rocky shoreline is only visible to the public from the ends of county streets west of Highway 1. Private encroachments into the public right-of-way are diminishing this coastal access.  Online petition to Board of Supervisors has over 400 signatures.
